Sea World San Diego announced via an Instagram post that Emperor will officially be opening in Spring 2020. Emperor will be the tallest Dive Coaster on the West Coast and will feature several inversions. The track work is complete and work on the chain for the lift hill and station is proceeding at the moment with testing expected to begin in the next couple of weeks.
